Workshop: LinkedIn Starter’s Guide by Exellys

Als het op je carrière aankomt, is het potentieel van LinkedIn enorm. Meer dan 90% van de wervingsmanagers gebruikt LinkedIn om rekruten te zoeken en het professionele netwerkplatform wint alleen maar aan populariteit. Studenten denken vaak dat LinkedIn alleen nuttig is voor mensen met op zijn minst enige professionele ervaring, maar dat is niet per se waar. In feite is het voorlaatste jaar waarschijnlijk het ideale moment om het te doen. Er zijn meer gegevens dan u denkt die u meteen kunt toevoegen.
In deze workshop gaan we dieper in op alle bouwstenen van een LinkedIn-profiel en hoe studenten deze kunnen opzetten om hun kansen op succes te maximaliseren. We bespreken ook de do’s en don’ts van het bouwen van een netwerk en aan de slag gaan met het delen van inhoud op het platform.

When it comes to your career, the potential of LinkedIn is huge. More than 90% of hiring managers use LinkedIn to look for recruits and the professional networking platform is only gaining in popularity. Students often think that LinkedIn is only useful for people with at least some professional experience, but that’s not necessarily true. In fact, the penultimate year is probably the ideal time to do it. There’s more data than you think that you can add right away.
In this workshop we have a closer look at all the building blocks of a LinkedIn profile and how students can set them up to maximise their chances of success. We’ll also be covering the do’s and don’ts of building a network and getting started with content sharing on the platform.
