The Industria sports team consists of a few motivated students with a love for sports. They dedicate their time to organizing fun sports activities in which all Group T students can participate! On this page you can find all the activities they organize and the events Industria participates in.
24 hourrun
On Oct. 25 at 8 p.m., the kickoff will be given at the University Sports Center in Heverlee. For 24 hours student clubs run for the victory. Laps (530 meters) are run uninterrupted in a race against each other. This year Industria is running to break their personal record, more than 1000 laps is the ultimate goal. Industria is in the polls a fast growing union that amazes every year. This year promises to be another exciting edition!

Nothing better for both your physical and mental health than a good run or bike ride! In Industria’s interactive Strava groups, you can show off your running and/or cycling performances together with your fellow Group T students, participate in the various challenges posted and discover fun running or cycling routes!
The Strava groupsIFB's & internal competitions
IFBs are competitions in which teams from the various Leuven student associations can participate and compete for first place. Industria participates in the IFB for basketball, women’s futsal, men’s futsal, field football and volleyball. Possible training sessions will also be organized to allow the teams to grow together into one large whole. These training sessions and also the competitions will be informed in time and will be visible for the teams in the individual Facebook groups and on the Industria socials.
The internal futsal competition is a competition for Group T students, where the best football talents among our engineers can be seen. There will also be a 3 v 3 basketball league for the first time this academic year.
Activities
During the year several activities are organized . This of course also applies to sports. In addition to the 24-hourrun and the IFBs, there will also be ping pong tournaments, pentathlons, bubble soccer and many other activities with nice prizes in both semesters! Will you come too?! So be sure to add yourself to the Sport Industria facebook group to be up to date!
There is also a facebook group where messages are posted and updates about everything are given. To be up to date, it is highly recommended to be in this FB group. If you ever have a question about our sports activities or a suggestion for a sports activity, do not hesitate to contact a member of the team!
