Ab Actis

The Ab Actis (or secretary) deals with everything that belongs to administration and the cooperation of Industria and its members.

Meetings

Industria has a whole series of internal meetings to ensure that everything runs smoothly. At these meetings, the Ab Actis keeps records of what is said so that team members can look back later to remember what they had to do or assess an activity based on previous years. All these reports must be available in different places, which are also maintained by the Ab Actis. For example, they should be available on online platforms and physically in the Industria room so that members can read them at all times. In addition, the Ab Actis also ensures the availability of a room to hold the meeting if required.

Administration

As Ab Actis it is important to keep all the official documents up to date over the years so that they can be retrieved when needed. In concrete terms, this means that the Ab Actis has a copy of internal regulations, statutes, signed contracts and other documents from both the year in which he or she is active and previous years, if these contracts are still in force. In addition, the Ab Actis is responsible for the regulation of publications in the Belgian official journal to be passed on to the clerk’s office of the Business Court, for example when new board members take office or the statutes are changed.

Agenda

It is important that all members of Industria (and their students) are aware of activities taking place in the near future. To ensure this, a calendar of activities is drawn up at the beginning of the year, which is made public and maintained by the Ab Actis. This is done on a platform of your choice, but usually via Google Calendar. Are you interested in the activities that Industria organises during the year, but you can’t find the calendar? Feel free to send a message to abactis@industria.be and he will help you further.

Cooperation

Finally, the Ab Actis also manages the cooperation platform of Industria. Here, members of the team sign up for shifts during activities, but this can also be done by external volunteers, in other words, every student can help set up the activities throughout the year. To further stimulate this, there is an interesting reward structure depending on the number of hours and employee has helped, so you can win prizes for free. Interested? Take look at the cooperation page to see if you can help!
